College Burgee Program

About the Program

Honoring Our Legacy, Celebrating the Future

The Junior Sailing College Burgee Program is a special initiative created by the St. Petersburg Yacht Club to honor and celebrate former SPYC junior sailors who have gone on to represent the Club at the collegiate level. This program recognizes the dedication, discipline, and passion of our youth sailors — and celebrates their continued journey in the sport as they carry the SPYC burgee into the next chapter of their sailing careers. See below to learn more about who this program honors.

01

Former Participants of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program

These are the sailors who first learned, trained, and grew within our junior program, steadily building the foundation of skill, sportsmanship, and camaraderie that ultimately set them on a path toward collegiate sailing.

02

Sailors Who Are Actively Competing or Have Competed on a College Sailing Team

This recognition extends to those who took their passion for sailing to the next level, representing both their universities and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club as they carry the SPYC burgee into intercollegiate competition.
